Gheun Tak

‘Gheun Tak - Comedians breaking barriers’ is a documentary based on an initiative which took Stand-Up comedy to the farthest reaches of Maharashtra and trained a group of 14 new comics from various communities like laborers, farmers, sex workers, and Adivasis. This film documents the journeys of these comics as they discover how to use Stand-Up Comedy to represent their communities in a world where they are otherwise seldom heard.
